Longevity IV Therapy, at a glance

Gangnam Celliting Clinic · 121 Teheran-ro, Gangnam-gu, Seoul · Gangnam Station Exit 12 (4-min walk)

Longevity IV therapy uses drips such as NAD+ or antioxidants like glutathione and vitamin C as one small part of a healthy-ageing plan. Research on these molecules is promising in the lab, but human evidence that drips extend healthy lifespan is limited. At Gangnam Celliting Clinic in Gangnam, Seoul, doctors combine them with health checks and lifestyle advice, and track how you respond.

The bigger picture

Where do IV drips fit in a longevity plan?

IV drips sit near the top of a longevity plan, as an optional extra on a broad base of proven habits. The base does most of the work; drips are a possible add-on for suitable patients.

Layer Examples Strength of evidence
Foundation Sleep, exercise, diet, not smoking Strong
Prevention Health checks, screening, managing blood pressure Strong
Targeted support Supplements where a deficiency is found Good when a need is shown
Optional extras NAD+ or antioxidant IV drips Early and still developing

The ingredients

What do NAD+ and antioxidant drips aim to do?

NAD+

A molecule every cell uses to make energy and repair DNA. Levels tend to fall with age in studies, which is why the clinic offers an NAD+ IV with cellular energy and repair as its focus. Read more on the NAD+ therapy page.

Glutathione

The body's main internal antioxidant, which helps neutralise reactive molecules produced by normal metabolism and stress.

Vitamin C

A water-soluble antioxidant also needed to build collagen. High blood levels are easier to reach by drip than by mouth.

NAD+ drips are usually given slowly, because some people feel flushing, chest pressure or nausea if the infusion runs too fast. The doctor sets the rate and length for you.

Measuring progress

How can you tell whether a longevity drip is doing anything?

You measure progress by tracking the same markers before and after a period of care, rather than relying on how you feel after a single session.

  1. Baseline Start with a preventive health screening or blood tests so there is something to compare against.
  2. Simple daily markers Note sleep quality, energy, exercise capacity and recovery in a diary or a wearable.
  3. Repeat and compare Re-test after an agreed period and review changes with the doctor, together with lifestyle changes you made.
  4. Decide honestly If nothing measurable has changed, it is reasonable to stop the drips and focus elsewhere.

Evidence humility

What does the science say — and not say — about longevity drips?

The honest summary is that the biology is interesting but the human proof is thin. Laboratory and animal studies on NAD+ have attracted a lot of attention, and small human studies are ongoing, yet there is no reliable evidence that any IV drip slows ageing or extends lifespan in people.

Be cautious of any clinic, anywhere, that promises to reverse your biological age with a drip.

What can be said is that drips may help some people feel more energetic for a time, and that they are generally low risk when prescribed and monitored by a doctor. That is a reasonable, modest role.

FAQ

Longevity IV Therapy: your questions, answered

Reviewed by Dr. Ho-chan Kim, MD, PhD · Updated October 2026

Can a longevity IV slow down ageing?

There is no reliable evidence that any IV drip slows ageing in people. NAD+ and antioxidants play real roles in cell biology, and some people feel more energetic after drips, but claims of reversing age go beyond the science. Treat drips as optional support, not as an anti-ageing treatment in themselves.

How is NAD+ different from a vitamin drip?

NAD+ is a coenzyme cells use for energy and repair, while a vitamin drip supplies vitamins your body uses in many processes. They are different formulations with different aims and are usually infused at different speeds. The doctor will explain which one suits your goals.

How often do people have longevity drips?

There is no proven ideal schedule. Some patients have a short series and then review; others have occasional drips linked to visits. The doctor will suggest a frequency based on your health, response and goals, and revisit it over time.

Are there side effects with NAD+ drips?

Some people feel flushing, chest tightness, cramps or nausea during the infusion, especially if it runs fast, and these usually ease when the rate is slowed. The usual drip-site effects, such as a small bruise, can also occur. Tell staff straight away if you feel unwell.

Do I need tests before starting a longevity plan?

It is strongly recommended. Baseline tests show where your health stands, can reveal issues that need attention first, and give you something to measure progress against.
