Regenerative Aesthetic Treatments, at a glance

Gangnam Celliting Clinic · 121 Teheran-ro, Gangnam-gu, Seoul · Gangnam Station Exit 12 (4-min walk)

Regenerative aesthetic treatments use your body's own repair signals, or a collagen stimulator, to improve skin quality and structural support gradually. PRP and stem cell face programs use material from your own blood, exosome therapy delivers cell-signalling particles, and Sculptra prompts new collagen over months. At Gangnam Celliting Clinic in Gangnam, Seoul, the doctor matches the option to your skin and the look you want.

  • Options compared PRP, exosome, stem cell, Sculptra
  • Typical onset Gradual, over weeks to months
  • Sculptra experience Since 1999; Original Training Center
  • Pain control Matched per procedure

How do PRP, exosomes, stem cell face treatment and Sculptra compare?

They differ mainly in what they are made from and how quickly change appears. The table gives a high-level comparison. Sessions and spacing are always set by the doctor after seeing your skin, so treat the last columns as a guide rather than a plan.

Treatment Source Onset Sessions Best for
PRP Your own blood (platelets) Gradual, weeks Usually a series Dull, tired texture
Exosome Cell-signalling particles Gradual, weeks Set at consultation Calming, renewal, post-procedure skin
Stem cell face Your own blood-derived cells Gradual, weeks to months Set at consultation Overall skin quality and resilience
Sculptra Poly-L-lactic acid stimulator Builds over months Usually a series Volume loss, hollows, thinning support
"Regenerative" is a description, not a single product. Always ask which one you are actually receiving.

What makes each regenerative option different?

PRP

Platelet-rich plasma is made by spinning a small sample of your blood to concentrate platelets, which carry growth factors. It is simple and uses only your own material.

Exosome therapy

Exosomes are tiny particles cells use to pass signals. Applied topically, with microneedling or by injection, they aim to support calmer, renewing skin. See exosome facial treatments.

Stem cell face

Autologous, blood-derived cells prepared on site in four sterile rooms with the Miracell or NovaStem system. No donor material and no fat extraction.

Sculptra

A collagen biostimulator that encourages your skin to build its own collagen over time. Celliting presents itself as "The Original Sculptra Training Center".

These options can be combined. For example, Sculptra may restore lost support while an exosome or stem cell session works on surface quality. Your doctor decides whether combining helps or simply adds cost and recovery.

Our approach

Why aim for results that still look like you?

Regenerative treatments work with your own tissue, so the change is usually gradual and subtle: skin looks rested and healthier rather than altered. That is the point. Friends notice you look well, not that you had something done.

  • Doses and areas are planned conservatively, then adjusted at follow-up.
  • Facial anatomy guides placement, especially for Sculptra in the temples and cheeks.
  • Skin quality comes first; volume is added only where it is truly lost.
  • Both medical directors, MD-PhDs with backgrounds in physiology and anatomy, treat patients personally.

If lifting is also needed, regenerative care can sit alongside a device plan. Read about collagen-stimulating treatments for the wider picture.

FAQ

Regenerative Aesthetic Treatments: your questions, answered

Reviewed by Dr. Ho-chan Kim, MD, PhD · Updated October 2026

Which works faster, PRP or Sculptra?

Neither is instant. PRP tends to show gradual improvement in skin quality over weeks, while Sculptra builds collagen slowly over months. Your doctor can explain the likely timeline for your skin and whether one, the other or both makes sense.

Is exosome therapy made from my own cells?

Exosome therapy uses cell-signalling particles rather than your own blood. If you prefer treatment made only from your own material, PRP and the autologous stem cell face program are the options that use your blood. Ask the doctor which product is used.

Can Sculptra look overdone?

When planned conservatively it is designed to look gradual and natural, because your own collagen does the work. Placement, dose and spacing between sessions matter. Celliting's Sculptra expertise dates back to 1999, and the plan is reviewed at each visit.

Can I combine two regenerative treatments in one visit?

Sometimes, yes. A doctor may pair a collagen stimulator with a skin-quality treatment if your skin and schedule allow. Combining is not always better, so the decision is made after examining your face and health history.

How do I know which option is right for my face?

A doctor's examination is the only reliable way. Thin skin with volume loss may suit Sculptra, while dull or reactive skin may suit exosome or PRP. You can send photos in advance to start the conversation.
