Aging Skin Care Plans, at a glance

Gangnam Celliting Clinic · 121 Teheran-ro, Gangnam-gu, Seoul · Gangnam Station Exit 12 (4-min walk)

The number of days you spend in Seoul shapes your plan more than anything else. A 2–3 day stay usually suits a consultation plus one non-invasive lifting session. With 4–6 days there is room to add a skin booster or exosome step. A stay of 7 days or more allows staged care with a doctor check before you leave. Your doctor confirms what suits your skin.

Trip length

What can you realistically do in 2–3, 4–6 or 7+ days?

You can do more than most people expect in a few days, as long as the plan matches the time you have. The table below is a general planning guide, not a fixed package. Your skin, your health history and the doctor's assessment decide the final plan.

2–3 days 4–6 days 7+ days
Main focus Consult + one lifting session Lifting + skin quality Staged, layered plan
Typical options Ultherapy PRIME, Thermage FLX or Sofwave Add a skin booster or exosome care Add regenerative or injectable steps
Visible marks Usually minimal Possible redness or small bumps Time for swelling to settle
Doctor review Same visit Before you leave Mid-stay and before you leave
Plan the treatment first and the sightseeing second: a buffer day before your flight is more valuable than one extra procedure.
Sequencing

Why does the order of treatments matter on a short trip?

Order matters because each step prepares the skin for the next and keeps recovery overlap small. Energy-based lifting works on deeper layers, while skin boosters, exosome care and regenerative steps work closer to the surface. Doing them in a sensible order lets each one do its job.

  1. Consult and map your skin The doctor checks laxity, skin thickness, texture and previous treatments, then sets priorities for the days you have.
  2. Lifting comes first Devices such as Ultherapy PRIME or Thermage FLX are usually done early, when your schedule is most flexible.
  3. Surface and regenerative care next Skin quality treatments may follow on the same day or later in your stay, depending on how your skin responds.
  4. Check before departure On longer stays, a short review lets the doctor see how your skin has settled and adjust aftercare.

If lifting is your main goal, our page on non-surgical face lifting explains the devices in more detail. For surface quality, see exosome facial treatments.

Flights and packing

How should you time treatment around your flights?

Book your first visit soon after you arrive and keep your final day light. Non-invasive lifting usually allows normal activity quickly, but injection-based steps can cause temporary redness, swelling or bruising, so they fit better earlier in the stay.

Arrival day

Rest after a long flight. A consultation is fine if you feel well; heavier sessions can wait until the next day.

Middle of the trip

The best time for lifting and any injection-based step, while there is still time for the skin to calm down.

Last day

Keep it for a review, collecting written aftercare and packing, not for new procedures.

What to bring to your first visit

  • A list of your medicines and supplements, including blood thinners
  • Names and rough dates of past fillers, threads, lasers or energy devices
  • Your flight times, so the plan fits your schedule
  • Sunscreen and a hat for the days after treatment
Back home

How do you look after your skin after flying home?

Aftercare at home is simple but it matters: gentle cleansing, moisturiser, daily sunscreen and no harsh peels or new devices until your doctor says it is safe. Cabin air is dry, so extra moisturiser during the flight can help.

Gangnam Celliting Clinic gives international patients written aftercare in their language, a 24-hour contact line and a free 3-month follow-up after they return home. If you notice anything unexpected, send a photo and a short message, and the doctor can advise on next steps or the timing of a future visit.

Is it right for you?

Does a trip-based plan suit you?

Often a good fit

  • You have fixed dates in Seoul and want to use them well
  • You prefer non-invasive lifting with little time off
  • You can share your medical and treatment history before or on day one
  • You are happy to stay in touch for follow-up after you return

Talk to your doctor first

  • You plan to fly out within hours of an injection-based treatment
  • You are pregnant, breastfeeding or taking blood-thinning medicine
  • You have an active skin infection or recent sunburn
  • You expect surgery-like change from one short visit

Suitability is a medical decision made by your doctor after an in-person consultation and review of your health history.

FAQ

Aging Skin Care Plans: your questions, answered

Reviewed by Dr. Ho-chan Kim, MD, PhD · Updated October 2026

Is a weekend in Seoul enough for anti-aging treatment?

Yes, for a focused plan. A consultation and one non-invasive lifting session can often be done in a single visit, and the clinic is open on Saturdays until 16:00. A weekend is too short for staged or injection-heavy plans, so the doctor will suggest what fits best and what could wait for a future trip.

Should I have treatment at the start or the end of my trip?

Usually near the start. Treating early gives your skin time to settle and lets the doctor check you before you leave. If you only have one free day, choose one that is not your departure day, so any redness or swelling has time to calm down before the flight.

Can I fly the day after a lifting treatment?

Many patients can, after non-invasive lifting, because it usually causes little visible change. Injection-based steps are different and a buffer day is wiser. Your doctor will give advice based on the exact treatments you receive, and you can ask about anything during the trip through the 24-hour contact line.

What if I need another session after I go home?

You can plan it for a later visit. Some lifting and collagen-stimulating treatments are repeated at intervals, and the doctor will explain whether that applies to you. During the free 3-month follow-up the clinic can review photos and help you decide when a return trip makes sense.

Can I go sightseeing on treatment days?

In most cases, yes, after non-invasive lifting. Wear sunscreen and a hat, drink water and avoid saunas, hot baths and heavy exercise for the period your doctor recommends. After injection-based steps, light activities such as cafes or museums are usually more comfortable than long outdoor walks in strong sun.
