The focus

What does a men's longevity clinic actually work on?

A men's longevity clinic works on four connected areas: your baseline health, energy and recovery, skin regeneration, and cell-based wellness. Not every man needs all four; the consultation decides which ones are worth your time.

Baseline health

A review of your history, medications and lifestyle. Some men add an anti-aging health check to start with objective information.

Energy and recovery

Customised nutrient IV drips, including multivitamin and glutathione options, as supportive care during demanding periods.

Skin regeneration

Regenerative skin treatments such as Rejuran and collagen-supporting injectables for skin quality, texture and elasticity.

Cell-based wellness

Autologous, blood-derived stem cell IV wellness programs using the Miracell and NovaStem systems.

The consultation

How does a men's longevity consultation run?

A longevity consultation runs like a structured medical interview followed by a short, prioritised plan; it is not a sales menu. Expect questions about sleep, alcohol, exercise, work stress and medicines before any treatment is mentioned.

  1. Your goals You explain what you want: better energy, faster recovery from travel and training, healthier skin, or all three.
  2. Health and lifestyle review The doctor goes through your medical history, medications, supplements and recent test results from home.
  3. Decide on testing If information is missing, the doctor may suggest a health check before recommending treatment.
  4. Prioritised plan You get a short plan that separates cosmetic care from supportive wellness care, with honest notes on expected benefit.
  5. Treatment and review Chosen treatments are scheduled, and the plan is reviewed at your next visit or during follow-up.
Comparing options

Nutrient IV drips or stem cell IV wellness: how do they differ?

Nutrient IV drips deliver vitamins and antioxidants into a vein, while stem cell IV wellness uses cells prepared from your own blood. They serve different purposes and involve very different processes.

Nutrient IV drip Stem cell IV wellness
What goes in Vitamins, glutathione, fluids Cells prepared from your own blood
Donor material None None; autologous only
Preparation Mixed for you on the day Blood draw, then preparation in sterile rooms
Time in clinic Mainly the infusion time Longer; set at consultation
Typical role Supportive, short-term Wellness program decided by the doctor

Realistic expectations

What can longevity care realistically do for men?

Longevity care can support how you feel and how your skin looks, but it cannot stop aging, cure disease or replace sleep, exercise and good nutrition. A trustworthy clinic will tell you this plainly.

  • Reasonable: feeling supported during busy or high-travel periods.
  • Reasonable: gradual improvement in skin texture and elasticity with regenerative skin care.
  • Not reasonable: expecting a drip to fix poor sleep or heavy drinking.
  • Not reasonable: any promise that a treatment will extend your lifespan.
Scientific evidence for many wellness uses of IV and cell-based treatments is still developing, so decisions should be made case by case with your doctor.

For international patients

Planning a longevity visit as an overseas patient

A longevity visit fits best into a stay of several days, so that consultation, any testing and treatment are not rushed. Bring recent blood test reports and a medication list translated into English if possible. Nutrient IVs take little more than the infusion time, while stem cell programs need more planning. The clinic communicates in English, Chinese, Japanese and Vietnamese. If you add Rejuran, the clinic lists about two days of recovery, so schedule it well before your flight.

FAQ

Men's Longevity Clinic: your questions, answered

Reviewed by Dr. Ho-chan Kim, MD, PhD · Updated October 2026

Is a longevity clinic the same as a regular health check-up?

No. A health check measures your current health, while a longevity clinic uses that kind of information to plan supportive care, such as nutrient IVs, regenerative skin treatment or stem cell IV wellness. A health check can be part of a longevity visit, but it is not the whole of it.

Where do the stem cells in the IV wellness program come from?

They come from your own blood. The clinic's programs are autologous, meaning no donor material is used and no fat extraction is needed. The cells undergo minimal manipulation and are prepared in sterile rooms. The doctor first decides whether you are a suitable candidate.

How often do men usually have nutrient IV drips?

There is no fixed schedule. Some men have a drip during a demanding trip, others repeat it at intervals the doctor suggests. Frequency depends on your goals, health and response. More is not automatically better, and the doctor may advise against routine drips if they add little for you.

Can longevity treatments replace exercise and sleep?

No. Exercise, sleep, nutrition and limited alcohol remain the foundation of healthy aging. Treatments are supportive at best. A good longevity plan will include practical lifestyle advice alongside any treatment, and the doctor may tell you that lifestyle changes matter more than a drip.

Why does the MOHW designation matter for a longevity clinic?

It shows the clinic meets the Korean Ministry of Health and Welfare's requirements as an Advanced Regenerative Medicine Institution, a designation Gangnam Celliting Clinic received on June 15, 2026. It relates to regenerative procedures, and it is one factor to consider alongside the doctors' experience.
