Before you fly

What should you prepare before travelling to Korea for treatment?

Prepare your medical information, a realistic travel schedule and clear photos before you travel, because these let the doctor plan safely and avoid wasted days in Seoul.

  • Clear, unfiltered photos of the area you want treated, in daylight.
  • A list of medicines, supplements and allergies, ideally in English.
  • Details of previous fillers, threads, lifting or surgery, with dates.
  • Your arrival and departure dates, so recovery can fit before the flight home.
  • Travel insurance details and a copy of any recent medical reports.
  • A messaging app installed (WhatsApp or KakaoTalk) for follow-up from home.
Tell the clinic about any treatments planned elsewhere during your trip, so the doctor can check they are safe to combine.

Is it right for you?

Is treatment in Seoul practical for you?

Often a good fit

  • You can stay in Seoul for at least a few days
  • You are comfortable sharing photos and medical history in advance
  • You want a doctor, not a coordinator, to make the treatment decision
  • You can keep in touch by messaging app after you return

Talk to your doctor first

  • Your stay is very short and your flight is the day after treatment
  • You have a serious or unstable medical condition
  • You are pregnant or breastfeeding
  • You plan several procedures at different clinics on the same trip

Suitability is a medical decision made by your doctor after an in-person consultation and review of your health history.

For international patients

How long should you stay in Seoul?

Plan for a stay of at least three to five days for most aesthetic treatments: one day for consultation and treatment, and the rest as a buffer for swelling or bruising to settle before your flight. Longer programs, such as stem cell treatments or several combined procedures, may need more time. Friday's later opening until 21:00 and Saturday mornings help if you arrive mid-week. Share your dates in your first message so the doctor can plan.

  • Message us first Send photos and travel dates on WhatsApp before you fly.
  • Doctor-reviewed plan Get a suggested plan in advance, confirmed in person.
  • Your language English, 中文, 日本語 and Tiếng Việt support.
  • Follow-up at home Free 3-month follow-up and a 24-hour line.
FAQ

International Patients: your questions, answered

Reviewed by Dr. Ho-chan Kim, MD, PhD · Updated October 2026

How far in advance should I contact the clinic from abroad?

Contact the clinic as soon as you have travel dates, ideally a few weeks ahead. This gives time to review photos and medical history, suggest suitable options and book a consultation early in your stay. Short-notice visits are possible, but appointment choice may be more limited.

What documents should I bring to my first appointment?

Bring your passport, a list of your medicines and allergies, and any records of previous cosmetic treatments or surgery with dates. Recent medical reports are helpful if you have a long-term condition. Documents in English are easiest, but bring what you have; the team will help you go through them.

Which languages are available at the clinic?

The clinic supports English, Chinese, Japanese and Vietnamese. Mention your preferred language when you first contact the clinic so the team can arrange support for the consultation and provide written aftercare in that language.

What happens if I have a problem after I fly home?

Contact the clinic by WhatsApp with photos and a description. The free 3-month follow-up lets the doctor review your progress and advise you remotely. If you need in-person care at home, the clinic can explain what was done so your local doctor has the details.

Is the clinic open on Sundays?

No. The clinic is closed on Sundays and public holidays. It opens Monday to Thursday 10:00–19:00, Friday 10:00–21:00 and Saturday 10:00–16:00 Korea time, so plan treatment days within those hours.
